i24 channel reported that Yair Lapid, theIsraeli occupation’s minister of foreign affairs, secretly met Abdullah II, king of Jordan, in Jordan's capital last month. 

The channel said that they both discussed the situation of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa in Occupied Al-Quds and the possible ways to strengthen the ties between Jordan and the Israeli occupation. 

The calls between both sides were actively resumed after Neftali Bennett had become the new prime minister of the Israeli occupation in June 2021. 

These calls between Jordan and the Israeli occupation are the first for five years.
