According to the Israeli newspaper Maariv, there are no developments recorded in the three important files: Calm and reconstruction in the Gaza Strip and the prisoner exchange deal with Hamas.

The newspaper added that Egypt was making tireless efforts to achieve calm in the sector, but there was nevertheless a breakthrough in the three files.

 It noted that relative calm resulting from the relief of Gaza by allowing more traders to enter the occupied Palestinian territories, at a time when the issue of Hamas salaries derived from the country grant remained unresolved due to difficulties in finding the appropriate mechanism for the occupation demands.
