Administrative detainees continue to boycott Israeli occupation courts for the 188th day, as a part of their confrontation of the administrative detention policy, while prioner Raed Rayan suffers from difficult health conditions in the 92nd day of his hunger strike in rejection of his administrative detention.
At the beginning of January, administrative detainees announced a comprehensive boycott of all occupation justice procedures related to administrative detention. The occupation courts issued 862 administrative decisions against Palestinians during the first half of this year, a 30% increase over the same period last year.
Hunger-striking prisoner Raed Ryan suffers from severe weight deficiencies, dizziness, vomiting and aches throughout his body, travelling in a wheelchair and his health status is becoming more serious, yet the Prison Department refuses to transfer him to a civilian hospital.
