In a statement, Yesh Din, an Israeli rights organization, condemned the passage of the Israeli Knesset member Itamar Ben Gvir’s law, granting him broad powers to decide police policy and that he would grant immunity to anyone who abused Palestinians.

The organization said: "This immunity will increase settler violence, and will affect Palestinian human rights and will lead to a security escalation in the occupied West Bank.
