The Detainees and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs Commission said that the Israeli occupation prison administration persists in violating the sick prisoners, stressing in a statement that the occupation is targeting them satisfactorily and is prolonging their treatment.

Prisoner Atef Murad Naasan, 18, suffers from aches in the right foot from a rubber bullet in the same foot two years ago. Prisoner Riyadh Al-Amour (54 years old) suffers from severe heart problems and has been for years been in need of an operation to change the pacemaker's system. This led to his transfer of the so-called Ramla prison clinic, but the occupation did not provide him with treatment.

The occupation detains 600 sick prisoners, including some 200 prisoners with chronic diseases, including at least 24 prisoners and detainees, who suffer from cancer and tumours to varying degrees.
