A number of Palestinians were injured as the Israeli occupation forces had shot fire at them during their raid into Aqaba camp in Jericho.
Local sources reported that a large Israeli troop invaded the camp amid heavy gunfire. Therefore, 5 Palestinians were injured by live bullets, 2 of them in critical condition. The raid was preceded by the invasion of a special force of the Israeli occupation army to the camp and the siege of one of the houses, before demolishing 4 houses and arresting 4 citizens.
Sources added that violent confrontations broke out in the camp, during which youth threw stones and incendiary bottles, causing an Israeli military vehicle to catch fire.
Since seven days, the Israeli occupation forces have been imposing a blockade over Jericho through closing all of its entrances.
