In a preliminary reading, the General Authority for Knesset ratified a draft law aiming to deprive the prisoners of their right in medicine and surgeries. 

The draft law deprives the prisoners of having subsidized medicine that goes beyond the basic limited available medicine, which would improve the prisoners’ life, including good medical and health care. 

This law has claimed in advance that: “Compared to many countries in the world, the Israeli prisons’ administration is so lenient with the security prisoners.”
