The Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons continue disobedience for the 11th day in a row.
“Today, Friday, will be a day of anger inside and outside the prisons, in rejection of the Israeli prisons’ administration’s criminal measures practiced against the Palestinian Prisoner Movement,” said Hassan Abd Rabbu, spokesman of the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission. He also confirmed that an escalation is inevitably expected to occur, especially after the Israeli government’s decision to escalate punitive measures against the prisoners.
Prisoners started the first steps of disobedience on the 14th of February by closing sections and impeding the security checks, refusing to wear the brown uniform, imposed by the prisons’ administration in order to deliver a message of readiness for any escalation.
