Dozens of colonial setters stormed Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa's yards while being guarded by occupation police. In addition, a group of them cut down dozens of olive trees in Salfit, occupied West Bank.
Many colonial settlers reportedly assaulted Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa and carried out provocative rounds and Talmudic rituals in Al-Masjid’s yards, according to Awqaf. The Israeli police still impose entrance restrictions on Palestinians and verify their IDs at the Al-exterior Masjid's doors.
Nael Abu Madi, the deputy mayor, claimed that 170 olive trees between the ages of 50 and 80 were cut down by colonial settlers. He continued, saying that the region was frequently attacked by settlers and that 300 trees had been removed in order to compel the Palestinians to abandon their lands in favor of the settlement project.
