Itamar Ben-Gvir, Minister of National Security of Israel, addressed the prisoners’ hunger strike issue in the Israeli prisons, during Ramadan. 

"My policy is applicable, and the loss will be enormous if the strike continues," Ben Gvir stated in a press release. Additionally, he noted, prisoners would lose their rights throughout Ramadan if the hunger strike persisted.
