Israeli Minister of National Security, Ita-mar Ben-Gvir, led a group of settlers in storming Al–Masjid Al-Aqsa on Sunday. This marks the second time since assuming his position that extremist Ben-Gvir has entered the courtyards of the mosque, arriving early in the morning at the Al-Buraq area.

According to sources in Al-Quds, dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa in successive groups, provoking tensions within its courtyards. The Israeli authorities, along with Ben-Gvir and the settlers, restricted the access of worshipers and guards to the paths of their incursion. They also tightened security measures at the entrances of the mosque and imposed restrictions on Palestinian entry.
