The Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission said that the sick prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons will start struggle steps. The two cancer prisoners Walid Daqqa and asef Al-Refai’e will continue to refuse food and medicine until their demands are met. 

Asef Al-Refai’e, 20, is suffering from colon and gland cancer, and his health is very critical. As for the prisoner Walid Daqqa, 60, he suffers from a very rare type of cancer that affects the bone marrow. 

Daily communication with families is one of the most prominent demands of the prisoners in the Al-Ramla Prison Clinic, especially Daqqa and Refai’e. In addition, the demand the allowance of entry of clothing needed by the sick prisoners and release of the two prisoners Fatema Shaheen and Etaf Jaradat from the section of civilian female prisoners.
