Amit Halevy, a Likud Knesset member, is working on a plan to manage Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, which the political correspondent of “Zaman Yisrael” website has exposed in considerable detail.
The plan of Halevy, according to the correspondent, is to divide the Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa between Muslims and Israelis. According to the plan, Israelis will receive the northern region, which includes the Dome of the Rock, in exchange for giving the Muslims a square that includes the Al-Qibli Prayer Hall and the squares nearby. Israelis will also be permitted to enter at any time from any Al-Aqsa gates without being accompanied by police.
Halevy's plan discusses the expulsion of Jordanians from the Al-Aqsa as a foreign country that has no authority to intervene with the agreement with Jordan regarding Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa.
