Extreme tension has prevailed in Ramon prison following the Israeli occupying forces' aggression against a number of Palestinian prisoners.

Clashes broke out between Palestinian prisoners and security guards in Ramon prison, while occupation forces closed all sections of the prison.

The occupation forces occasionally suppress Palestinian prisoners and initiate extensive searches, as well as vandalism of prisoners' properties.

Administrative prisoners recently decided to halt the open hunger strike, giving an opportunity to complete talks with the occupation prison administration until early next month, after responding to some demands and suspending the answer to basic demands
