After the health of the elderly Palestinian prisoner Raed Badwan deteriorated as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' policy of deliberate medical negligence, tensions rose in the Negev prison.

According to the Asra Media Office, the Negev jail became tense after the old Badwan's health deteriorated as a result of the occupation prison administration's delay in transporting him for treatment.
