According to the Palestinian Prisoners Club, the prisoners at "Ofer" prison resolved to protest the prison administration's actions against them.

The Prisoners Club added that the closure of the sections and the announcement of the cancellation of the regulatory bodies are a preliminary step in protest of the daily inspections, the procrastination in delaying the entry of the prisoners' families during the visit, the great shortage of clothes, and the daily penalties against them, in addition to the state of overcrowding inside the sections, with the increase in the number of new detainees, and not providing the basic necessities for the prisoners.

Moreover, the Palestinian Prisoners Club verified that the situation has deteriorated in the Negev prison, which is one of the largest central prisons in Palestine, with over 1400 prisoners. Most rooms have an average increase of two prisoners, as prisoners are forced to sleep on the floor, and this is true in most sections.
