According to a human rights assessment, Israeli occupation forces' brutality this year resulted in the detention of wounded Palestinians, including women and children.

The Prisoners' Club reported that since the beginning of 2023, the occupation has incarcerated 60 Palestinian wounded, including children and women, emphasizing that these statistics are more than the number of wounded in the previous year.

The occupying forces routinely violated the injured, including assaulting them while they were being held without regard to their health and subjecting the majority of them to investigations while confined to hospitals, along with some of them who were given a ban on meeting with attorneys.
