Several meetings were held between leaders of the Hamas movement and the U.S. envoy for prisoner affairs, Adam Buhler, in the Qatari capital, Doha.

Taher Al-Nono, a Hamas leader, stated that the discussions focused on the release of one of the dual-nationality prisoners. He emphasized that Hamas demonstrated flexibility and positivity in the meetings in a manner that serves the interests of the Palestinian people.
