Israeli occupation forces have released 10 detainees from the Gaza Strip through the "Kissufim" military checkpoint, northeast of Khan Yunis in the southern part of the Strip.
The released detainees were transferred to a hospital in central Gaza for medical evaluation. They appeared emaciated and showed signs of torture; some were unable to walk or even stand. Meanwhile, hundreds of detainees from Gaza remain in Israeli prisons under harsh and inhumane conditions.
The Israeli occupation continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 50,846 people — the majority being women and children — and injuring over 115,729 others, in a still-incomplete toll as thousands remain trapped under the rubble.
