The Jerusalem Post reported that the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump has requested that Israel delay its military operation in Gaza to allow a chance for ceasefire negotiations.
Two informed sources told Israel’s i24 News channel that the American request included two parts: postponing the full-scale military operation on the Gaza Strip and allowing the negotiations that began in Doha to continue.
Meanwhile, thousands of Israelis have demonstrated in various areas, demanding the release of captives held in Gaza, even if it means ending the war.
