The Head of Gaza’s Executive Council, Nikolay Mladenov, announced that an agreement has been reached to reopen the Rafah Crossing, marking a step aimed at improving the humanitarian conditions and facilitating the movement.

Mladenov explained that the efforts are continuing in parallel with Israel and the National Committee for administrating Gaza to accelerate the search for the remaining Israeli captive. He also emphasised that logistical coordination is underway to implement the agreement on the ground, paving the way for practical steps to begin during the upcoming period.
