In a press release, Hamas revealed the details of the talks with the Egyptian security delegation that visited the Gaza Strip for a few hours. It said that a deep dialogue headed by Khalil Al-Hayya, from Hamas, and Major General Ahmed Abdel Khalek, from Egypt, about several issues took place. The two addressed the Palestinian reconciliation and the efforts Egypt makes to ensure its success, the imposed siege on the Gaza Strip and means to force the occupation to lift it, the entry of supplies necessary to fight the Coronavirus, and the opening of Rafah crossing. Hamas welcomed the Egyptian delegation and expressed its appreciation of all the efforts Egypt continues to exert, stressing the importance of maintaining a strong relationship between the two and working on the realization of what had been agreed on.
