Jan 02, 2021 11:15 am

The sick prisoners at the Ramleh prison’s clinic urged in a letter the entire world and legal and right organizations to save their lives and end their sufferings. The prisoners said, “We are endangered by the Coronavirus as we also face the occupation’s atrocities and intentional medical negligence”.

They also said that the administration of the Ramleh prison’s clinic practices the ugliest medical murder policies such as not diagnosing their diseases, not transferring them to city hospitals for treatment, and replacing treatment with painkillers. The sick prisoners suffer from killing diseases which makes the international silence an accomplice in such crimes.

The letter was sent through the advocate of the Commission of Detainees Affairs. The Commission stated that the number of prisoners who are ill and staying at the Ramleh prison’s clinic are 13, and they suffer from chronic diseases such as paralysis, tumors, bullet injuries and others.

The sick prisoners are Khalid Shawish, Mansour Mwqida, Mo’tasim Radad, Nahed Al-Aqra’, Saleh Saleh, Mohammed Takatka, Haitham Balal, Jihad and Mahmoud B’ierat, Nidal Abu Ahur, Mohammed Msalma, and Rami Mohammed.
