Israeli Hayom newspaper revealed that the occupation’s army is working on a new plan that handles the threats in the Middle East, mainly Iran.

In an article, Benny Gamtz said that Iran is advancing in the fields of research, development, attack forces and collection of enriched materials.

He said that Iran wishes to own nuclear weapons, and is getting closer to doing so. The establishment of a nuclear facility would take about a year. He also added that the occupation must have military intervention as an option, providing all necessary resources and investments.

There are talks about an Israeli plan that has three alternatives. The plan should be in the making soon and will be presented to the political authorities. However, it requires a budget that is estimated in billions, and it is not included in the Ministry’s.

Israeli sources said that Netanyahu is planning to assign a governmental official to run this file. The candidate proposed for this task is Yossi Cohen, who will no longer be the Director of Mossad by next June.
