Hana Nasser, Head of the Central Elections Committee, stated in a press release that Hamas and Fatah are expected to meet in Cairo to overcome any possible problems after President Abbas had issued the electoral decree.

The President said that he would issue a decree for the formation of an electoral court whose members are judges from the West Bank and Gaza. It will be responsible for election-related cases.

Some sources said that a meeting will be held next week in Cairo for the Secretaries of the Palestinian factions. They will discuss the procedures, details, courts, jurisdiction, police and others.
